Friday The weekend got off to an early start, with Jolanta and Trevor exploring the hills around Nantmor and Beddgelert. Meanwhile, I tackled an impressive 75 km road ride, cycling around the perimeter of Yr Wyddfa. Day 1: Cneifion Arete and Y Gribin Scramble The weekend promised to give us an opportunity to take in more of what Snowdonia has to offer, and we certainly gave it a go by attacking the Cneifion Arete. 'We Were Soldiers' Not only did Sam and Pete head up for a 'there and back' on Friday, our Vice Chair, Phil, headed up to Llanberis and managed to get one of the last of the parking spaces available to get a training day in for his forthcoming Scotland trip, so he was loaded up with ropes and a rack. Once he'd conquered the above, he headed off the ridge to Llyn Idwal. Another fab day out.
